Handhome is offically founded in November 2015 as a Vietnamese architecture database, including traditional as well as modern buildings. Handhome readers are mostly Vietnamese and the people who are interested in Vietnamese architecture.
After 3 years building architecture content database and sharing on http://handhome.net/, now Handhome shifts towards publishing. We want architects and those who care to know about Vietnamese architecture, bringing Vietnamese cultural and artistic values to the world.
After organizing 6 architecture exhibitions in the first 2 years of Handhome, the international exhibition that had the participation of Sou Fujimoto (Japan) and Iwan Baan (Netherlands) in 2017 and the publication of the book Ghe 01 in 2018 are our first steps in connecting Vietnamse architectural community to the world, creating a source of Vietnamese architecture contents for our readers.
Vietnam has a long of history of culture, art and architecture that is very worth learning. Handhome wishes to bring such valuable materials to our readers. We hope that this meaningful work would received the attention and understanding from those who are interested in Vietnamese culture and art.
